themselves. Pull strength is tested on a flat steel plate 1/2 inch

magnetic assemblies are made with ceramic or neodymium magnets, which
are brittle and may break if dropped or if riveting is used in their
application. Please
use caution when handling channel magnets assemblies, their exceptional
magnetic force may cause them to attract to metal (or to each other) so strongly that putting fingers in their path could prove painful.

Durability: Our Mounting Magnets are constructed so that the surface of the magnet is set very slightly below the surface of the steel cup. When it hits a steel surface, the steel cup takes the brunt of most impacts.
