These are powerful neodymium magnets housed inside of a stainless steel cup. 

The cup protects the magnet and also increases the magnets power by redirecting one polarity towards the other side. 

Attached to the cup there is a threaded stud that will work perfectly with a standard nut or threaded hole.

Ceiling magnet include countersunk holes
or threaded features that allow for mounting with standard hardware
(nuts and bolts), as well as various hooks.
